The Center will host the 14th Annual Holiday Celebration of the Arts on Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., . This event is one of the premier holiday art celebrations in Minnesota and is a perfect occasion for holiday gift buying. It will feature the work of more than 45 local, regional, national and international artists, writers and musicians, including sculptors, painters, potters, fabric artists, stained glass artists, photographers, printmakers, glass blowers, poets, and musicians.
The Celebration will offer fun and excitement for the entire family. Guests can take in tours and studio demonstrations of printmaking, glassblowing, painting, woodblock printing and watch Anderson Center potters "throwing" pots. In addition, there will be unique hand-crafted Peruvian textiles displayed by ArtAndes, work by local artists from the Red Wing Arts Association, photography by the Red Wing Photographic Club, and much more.
This wonderful occasion offers gifts galore – ceramics, Laotian silks, textiles, cards, glasswork, mosaics, wood carvings, paintings, pottery, photography, sculpture, signed books, CD's, and much more. A small admission will be charged at the door.
