Overnight Guests:
$135.00 - $180.00 depending on room. (fees must be paid in full at the time of registration by cash or check written to: The Anderson Center)
Enrollment: Limited to 12 adults
Materials & Equipment: Bring only high temperature stoneware or porcelain bisque ware. Glazes will be provided.
DATES:
Saturday, April 7: 10:00 am - Orientation, glaze, load and start firing
6:00 pm - Potluck dinner, lecture and discussion at the Historic Residence
Please bring a dish to pass for Saturday evening potluck.
Sunday, April 8: AM through 5:00 - Continue firing to 2,350 degrees
Saturday, April 14: Unbrick and unload kiln

A resident of rural Wisconsin, Richard Spiller was educated at Western Michigan University and the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Emeritus Professor of Art at Eastern Carolina University, Richard has been a practicing potter and ceramic artist for nearly 50 years. His expertise included kiln building with firing experience from corn cob raku to a Tozan Noboigama and firing to cone 10 reduction.
