DESCRIPTION:Anderson Center Presents Lake Pepin Chamber Music in concert on Saturday, January 24. Classical meets jazz in an eccentric mosaic of music by Andre Previn, Jenni Brandon, Peter Schickele, and more. Bassoonists play the blues, a trumpeter sings a moonlight serenade, and double reeds and piano join together for a bristly, but exhilarating trio. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. (doors open at 6:00 p.m.). Lake Pepin Chamber Music brings an adventurous slate of compositions and the intimate experience of chamber music to audiences in southeastern Minnesota and the Twin Cities metro area.\nAbout the Venue\n\nAnderson Center at Tower View is an artist community dedicated to advancing new art and ideas in an inspiring, historic setting in Red Wing, Minnesota. The Tower View Barn is a wood-clad, resonant space that creates a uniquely intimate concert experience.\nAccessibility\nThis event is held in the Tower View Barn, which is accessible via an ADA-compliant ramp. Seating is in rows of padded, armless chairs. Staff will remove any chair to make space for a wheelchair upon request.
