Betsy was raised in Chicago and has spent her life dedicated to doing what she loves in a community she loves, working commercial art jobs, at ski areas, and in tourism before forging her career as a woodcut artist and community figure. Betsy lives and works out of a restored Church in Grand Marais, and her work in the community has helped her career take root as placemaking.
