Exhibition: Art & Science

The Anderson Center presents Art and Science, a group exhibition in the Main Gallery featuring work from regional artists, scientists, and those who blur the boundaries between the two. The exhibition opens June 1 and runs through August 8, 2020. A free artist reception will take place Friday, July 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.

Artistic work and scientific research share a starting place of curiosity and close observation. Art and Science includes a spectrum of images, ranging from artistic interpretations of nature to photographs taken for biological research to compositions generated by machine learning.

More details to be announced soon!

Handicapped accessible and free to the public, the Main Gallery at the Anderson Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This exhibit is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a Minnesota State Arts Board Operating Support grant, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
