Based in Minneapolis, Jordan Young is a non-fiction writer from south Florida. She holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago. She is participated as a University of Minnesota Gesell Writing Fellow and was pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities during her residency. Her lyric work explores gender, race, and violence.
At the Anderson Center, Jordan continued work on a collection of flash essays about the formative relationships of her life.
