Nick Healy is an editor and short-story writer whose first book, It Takes You Over, won New Rivers Press’ Many Voices Project Award. Healy’s stories have appeared in many literary magazines and other publications, including North American Review, Water~Stone Review, Speakeasy, Minnesota Monthly, and Great River Review. Earlier in his career, Healy wrote fiction and nonfiction for children. Healy lives in Minnesota with his wife and two kids. His career originally followed a trajectory towards journalism, but after he found a passion for writing he quit journalism and enrolled at an MFA program in Mankato. His time spent at the Anderson Center helped give him space and time to continue pursuing a career in Fiction.
