Five Piece Pottery Invitational
A dozen of the region’s best ceramicists show five pieces each in this invitational exhibition, organized by Anderson Center Studio Artist Julie DeVetter. Opening in conjunction with the 21st Annual Holiday Celebration of the Arts, the Five Piece Pottery Invitational is taking place during open hours December 4 – 31 in the Potters Gallery at the Anderson Center.
From porcelain to stoneware, wood-fired to gas-fired, glazed with minerals from near and far, the Five Piece Pottery Invitational Exhibit has something for everyone. Whether you are looking for a mug or a statement centerpiece, whether your style is contemporary or classic, handbuilt or wheel-thrown, this exhibition is sure to introduce you to new names, show you new work by beloved and established artists, and tempt you to take a piece home with you.
Participating artists include: Kate Bauman, Stephanie DeArmond, Julie DeVetter, Kate Fisher, Glynnis Lessing, Paul & Denise Morris, Donovan Palmquist, Brittany Polzin, Angie Renee, Collen Riley, Sandra Daulton Shaughnessy, Katherine Smither (George Pottery), and Donna Winberg.
