Stefani Kuo is a poet/playwright/performer from Hong Kong and Taiwan. She received a B.A. from Yale University and M.F.A. in Playwriting from the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale. Her play on the Hong Kong protests, Final Boarding Call, was the winner of the 2021 Leah Ryan Fund for Emerging Women Writers’ Prize, and presented in the 2025 Kendeda Festival at the Alliance Theater. Wake was presented in the Langston Hughes Festival 2022. Pearl’s Beauty Salon was produced in May 2024 in the Carlotta Festival. Pig was a 2025 Judith Champion Launch Commission from The Atlantic Theater.
