Maura Conley used the residency to work on her novel-in-stories, The Opposite of Nesting. The work is comprised of eight pieces that all revolve around one family — a mother, two daughters, and a son. Each story stands on it own, but in reading the collection of stories, one gains a deeper knowledge of the range of emotions that function as the vehicle moving this family from day to day through their lives.
