Ash Goh Hua is a filmmaker originally from Singapore, now based in New York, who tells political stories personally through experimental leaning documentaries, challenging dominant ideologies in order to imagine possibilities of other worlds. During her residency, she worked on a script, vision board and pitch deck for a short narrative film about immigration and family. She was nominated for the Golden Starfish Award at the Hamptons International Film Festival in 2020 and the Best Short Film at the Sundance Film Festival in 2025.
