Daniel Lievano used his month of residency at the Anderson Center to sketch, read, draw, and write one of the seven chapters of a graphic novel. The project was segmented by chapters and in each one of them there is an exploration of the example of an appearance: Gazes, Words, Meanings, Surfaces, Caresses, Nudeness, and Images. His books have won awards, including the Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrator, NY, the Seymour Chwast Award from the Museum of Avant-garde, British Book Design and Production Awards, and Best Books published in Colombia.
