Julien combines the virtuosity of the Hip-Hop dances with a research of sensitivity and humanity. His approach is rooted in the reality of encounters, practices, and life’s experiences. He explores, through hybrid choreographic forms, how lived experiences can transform into choreographic objects. His works include: MON/DE (2015), GOLEM (2019), DRESS CODE (2021), COLLAPSE (2021), TRAJECTOIRES (2022), PAYSAGE (2024), BETON (2026). Julien was the artist selected by the AEROWAVES platform in 2020 with GOLEM. He was resident choreographer at Charleroi Danse (2020-2022). He is associated artist in the Théâtre de Liège (2024-28). He’s supported by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles and Grand Studio.
