Poetry
A. E. Wynter is an award-winning poet, editor, curator, and community organizer living in Saint Paul, MN. She has received multiple grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and has organized various readings, open mics, writing workshops, and art exhibits throughout the state. Wynter’s poems have appeared, or are forthcoming, in Black Warrior Review, Torch Literary Arts, The Florida Review (2024 Editors’ Award in Poetry), West Trade Review, New Millennium (53rd Award for Poetry), and elsewhere. Her poetry was also featured in the 2025 Silverwood Park Poetry Audio Trail and is currently showing at the Minnesota African American Heritage Museum and Gallery as part of the exhibit I Too, Am America. Wynter has been supported by the Loft Mentor Series, the Carolyn Moore Writers Residency, the Early Career Artist Residency at the Anderson Center, and the Tofte Lake Center’s National Emerging Artist Residency. She is currently a 2025-28 Jerome Hill Artist Fellow.
