Daniel Liévano is an award-winning conceptual multidisciplinary artist and author based in Bogotá, Colombia. In addition to crafting thought-provoking visuals for worldwide renowned publishers, newspapers, magazines, and ad campaigns, Daniel creates visual stories recognized for authentically bringing philosophical contemplation into the realm of illustrated books.
Daniel’s time at Anderson Center has been dedicated to sketching, reading, drawing, and writing his third graphic novel, which aims to weave a poetic narrative from the playful visualization of abstract concepts such as appearances and signs. During his residency, Daniel offered a drop-in activity booth at the Hispanic Heritage Festival in Central Park.
