Dario Bucheli

Dario Bucheli’s work is a reflection on the cultural, political, and economic forces that define the contours of my experience living in the United States. Each work brings together elements of pre- colonial Mexican codices, with references to contemporary American culture and politics. This interpretive process is also characterized by the desire to understand the present moment within the larger context of American history.

In addition to creating a series of works that speak to the experience of Hispanic immigrants in Minnesota, Bucheli will work with Hispanic Outreach.
