Kathleen M. Heideman is an author, artist and environmentalist working in Michigan’s wild Upper Peninsula. She is the author of The Caving Grounds, A Brief Report on the Human Animal, and Psalms of the Early Anthropocene. Her work appears in the anthologies YOOPER POETRY, SUPERIOR VOYAGE, AND HERE, and elsewhere. Heideman is the recipient of numerous awards, fellowships, and artist residencies including the National Park Service, watersheds, forests, private foundations, and the National Science Foundation’s Antarctic Artists & Writers Program.
