Kathryn Savage is associate professor of creative and coordinator of the writing program at MCAD and the author of Groundglass. Groundglass is a work of autotheory that explores links between pollution and public health. It was named a best read of the year by the Sydney Morning Herald and a Yale Review Favorite Cultural Artifact of 2022. She has held fellowships from the Tulsa Artist Fellowship, and her writing has been supported by the Academy of American Poets, Jerome Foundation, and McKnight Foundation. Recent writing appears in BOMB Magazine, Guernica, and Artforum. She is at work on a first novel.
