Paula Molina Acosta is a speculative fiction writer and graphic essayist from Maryland. Her writing has been published in Honey Literary, Metro Weekly, and Stylus, as well as in the anniversary journal Celebrating Ten Years of OutWrite. Her chapbook When We’re Done Here: Stories at the End of the World won the OutWrite 2020 Fiction Chapbook Competition, selected by Rivers Solomon, and was published by Neon Hemlock Press. Molina Acosta is currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Minnesota, with a minor in Race, Indigeneity, Gender, Disability, and Sexuality Studies.
During her residency, Molina Acosta will work on her speculative fiction novel and is giving a reading of her work at Tinta Wita Tipi.
