SanSan Kwan is a dancemaker and dance scholar who has devoted her career to advocating for the meaning-making power of the moving body. As an award-winning scholar, she has written books and articles on Asian/American dance. As a dancer, she has performed in NYC and San Francisco for 30 years. In 2021, she embarked on a new role as a choreographer.
