Steve Tibbetts

Steve Tibbetts has been a musician since the age of 12, focusing primarily on acoustic and electric guitar. He has released 14 albums, 11 of them with the German ECM label. He’s also worked at a radio station, at a record store, as a study-abroad coordinator in South Asia, and currently holds a part-time position as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Sholom’s Long Term Care unit in St. Paul.

Steve Tibbetts will use his time at the Anderson Center to organize hundreds of sound files he’s collected from his travels in India, Indonesia, Tibet, Bhutan, and even Minnesota. He’ll also take time to practice 12-
string guitar and get some ideas for a way to proceed with his music.
